Our idea which was one of the prize winners in Startup Weekend Global in Boston.
Email is great for a private conversation, but because of information overload, time short users are overwhelmed. They want to be in control of how they prioritize the influx of messages and make sure they take appropriate actions to important informations.
Current solutions focus on minimizing the noise, but Simplify.me focuses on highlighting the important signals.
Simplifyme takes the stress out of inbox email showers.
Simplifyme prioritizes the best, and keeps the less relevant to the rear.
Using a dual function to create an email client with a brand that can stick. I worked with a team in Boston’s start up weekend and judged one of the top entries.
Although mentioned on my “about” page, I think it would be fine to summarise here, graphically as always, what my aims and objectives are during my adult life. The illustration below summarises as follows…I want to leave a footprint that makes the area in and around it feel better than it did before…….I hope to do this by designing crafted products with thoughtful control mechanisms.
Here an experiment I oversaw to form a cantilever using just plywood and gusset joints, coach bolted and glued, with 50 x 50 softwood, all sourced from Scottish forests.
I am using an existing and proven Business Model here and thinking about its use within an model that brutalises the end consumer at present. What’s more, it’s a commodity based product….
I don’t think I would be giving too much away to say this is the starting point for my thoughts on how to enter this market, and what the need is………
Ideas for developing an opportunity that’s been brewing in my head for a while. Good market entry potential, and a raft of market sectors to expand into (I hope….). Combines quality product design with brand with social media with intelligent building technology with your Smart phone = innovative, quality, fun market entry.
